As we know, simply wearing a wig is not likely to get you to your goal length. It’s what goes on UNDER the wig that counts.

3. Pins. Bobby pins work, so do plain hair pins. Vary the placement to avoid stressing your hair in the same spots. Use enough, or your wig may come off!

4. Pure Silk, or at least satin. This is what you want when it’s cold out. Protecting your hair from cold air is critical in winter.

5. Moisturized hair. If your hair is dry, that’s no good. The wig can’t help dry hair, only keep moist hair from drying out. Whichever moisturizer works for you, use it! Don’t let your hair get too thirsty. That being said, try not to slap a wig on dripping wet hair, or it may mildew!
